Global New Media Lab ( most important )

After going through those challenges and fun; what I think was the most important is the ability of the students to use social media for social changes back home in their countries. If was awesome to know that student like you can use social media and make the necessary impact in your country. I am of the strong conviction that most students from this class can organize a platform to deal with certain social problem back home. To complete this great accomplished I think the ideal of funding all those great programs is the next target, and I know for sure the up coming one week in Vermont will provide the necessary information needed to help us. Thanks to the staff of this class. you guys are awesome, and I pray that you will continue your good job for the betterment of our planet and make it a place for Christ.

I love you all, but Christ loves you the best.
Global New Media Lab ( Challenging )

Even though there were lot of fun topics that I enjoy doing, but there were still some problem as it a always the case of meeting just online. At certain point in time I held problem with embedding some links and feeds on my blog. I think it was because we were not using the same programs, and the instruction for this program may be different from the others. With all those, I knew they were challenges that are meant to be over come. I held to put more time to a particular challenge and at the end of the day I will fine the most easier solution to it. this experience is a great fun. " Explore on your own."
Global New Media Lab ( rewarding )

Global New Media Lab is a class the have a great impact in the lives of exchange students. For a student in this class has been very helpful to me as at relates to social communication and a new way of viewing things. The most rewarding thing I learned in this class was the ability to understand how social media can be use for different purposes and not just posting pictures or texting friends. over the period of time I have learned that social media can we use for business purposes, resolving conflict, and finding solution to major problems affecting the masses.

This is the currently happening in Liberia.
Our intention is to see how we can work to get rid of some of these problems.

The crux of the dilemma was highlighted in a January 21, 2013 letter obtained by FrontPageAfrica in which the embattled Montserrado County Superintendent Grace Kpaan wrote the speaker of the House Alex Tyler expressing her willingness to carry out the House’s mandate to proceed with the payment of fees to school for the Montserrado County Scholarship Program but issuing caution that the process lacked a proper vetting procedure and requested that checks signed prior to the commencement of the renewed effort be turned over to the office of the Superintendent.

Monrovia - Rep. Edward Forh has a vocational school in the works in his Point Four District 16, a second vocational school named in honor of Rep. Thomas Fallah is nearing completion.
Throughout Liberia, members of the national legislature are popping out institutions in their names and using government funds, tax-payers’ money to foot the bills while scores of others have made it a habit of submitting a laundry list of students, they say are scholarship recipients paid for by lawmakers.

Open Letter to President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf: “When Will Justice Come?”

Season’s Greetings!
The holiday season is a time of joy and celebration for Christians and non-Christians alike who find hope and comfort in the birth of our lord Jesus Christ, who was born and died so that all of us can be free from the original sins of commission and omission. The season is also a period of reflection. This is a time when people engage in deep reflection on their experiences, their trials and tribulations, and explore new meanings in their lives that would give them a springboard and usher them in to a new and promising year. Madam President, as you are aware, this year coincides with the twenty-third anniversary of the Liberian civil war, and we in the Coalition for Justice in Liberia (CJL) believe it represents a critical time to reflect on the much-neglected issue of justice that has bedeviled the survival of our nation since its birth. Sadly, there are thousands of Liberians who will not experience the joy of this season because of the bad memories they still have of how their lives were uprooted and destroyed by an armed rebellion launched on December 24, 1989 whose consequence wreaked havoc on the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent Liberians, mainly vulnerable women and children.

Corruption in Liberia Introduction

Liberia is in an repentantly corrupt state.Corruption has become a popular culture thus our leaders and citizens indulge with impunity. The present leadership in public hate corruption, but they are the main group trying to killed a society of good citizens with corruption, and they believe it is a normal phonomenia.
The level of corruption is so immense, I mean and it's at all levels of the government, from the highest level to maybe even the lowest level to the point where there is no one to trust.
Since 2007 Transparency International (TI) has been working with a consortium of international NGOs to develop anti-corruption strategies and good practices for, but there a lot needs to be done to handle this big issue.
I think the right use of social media can help solve this problem. My suggestions are
1. The use Innovative software solutions
This software has a technology platforms  that dramatically reduce the number of false positives, saving time and money.
2.Using unparalleled data support
This will help to detect individuals and companies linked to more than 50 risk categories such as sanctions, foreign officials, and state owned enterprises.
3.Building the youth understand on how to use social media for social change
This will built a network of people continually informing the citizens, and exposing corruption acts in government.
with these suggestion we can minimize, if not stop corruption in Liberia.
